| Description | Hi Wooshin, For integration NUGU of Far Field Microphones, we want to know what API does NUGU used to record Far Field Microphone audio and Speaker feedback audio(Echo reference)? For example, we know the NUGU uses AudioRecord(VOICE_RECOGNITION) to record RCU audio. So we can do some modification at framework to support it. But for NUGU of Far Field Microphones, we do not know about how NUGU gets audio data from Far Field Microphones and echo reference audio. Please help to ask NUGU team for our questions. | ||||

Dear River, It is implemented by SKT. They will get data using "pcm_open()" directly so, i think you don't need any api. Thanks. |

Hi Wooshin, Thanks for your confirmation. Please inform SKT that the current pcm_open() for Far Field Mic will only get 2 channels, 32bits per channel audio data (I2S TDM). They have to separate it to 4 channels, 16bits per channel. |

Hi Wooshin, In mantis 871, you said "mic hal implementation was role of manufacturer because NUGU is not made by SK in AI2". As we know, the NUGU is made by SKT. From your saying , it seems NUGU in AI2 is not made by SKT, is it true? Then, how about the NUGU for our project? Why I ask this question is that we just want to know if we need any effect to modify mic hal to support NUGU. |

Hi Wooshin, Thanks for your information from wechat, I recorded it here for reference: Nugu is made bu skt but gathering data from mic was role of manufaturer in AI2. In case of sound box, from gathering data to nugu app everything is made by skt. |
